2013.10.30 十六銀行頭取との夕食会
2013年10月30日、タナティップ・ウパティシン大使夫妻は、十六銀行の村瀬幸雄頭取、三浦文彦常務、本陣平野屋の有巣一臣代表取締役、㈲舩坂酒造店の有巣弘城常務取締役、本陣平野屋花兆庵の有巣栄里子さんを大使公邸に招待し、夕食会を行いました。本陣平野屋花兆庵は、岐阜県高山市で有名な酒造店・旅館です。この夕食会は、2013年8月6-7日に開催された「Regional Conference on Thailand and Indonesia in Gifu」と「Regional Conference on Thailand and Indonesia in Aichi」に大使夫妻を招待した十六銀行と、同セミナーに出席した8月7日、高山市滞在中に歓待して頂いたことに対する感謝のために行われました。

2012年2月7日、ウィーラサック・フートラクーン大使は、東京の帝国ホテルで行われた、タイ会議・展示会事務局（TCEB）主催のBelieve in Thailandに出席し、開会の挨拶を行いました。今回は、タイにおけるMICEビジネス奨励と2020年の万国博覧会の開催国としてタイが最適であることを紹介する目的で開催され、日本企業、報道関係者約100名が参加しました。 タイ会議・展示会事務局のアカポン・スラスチャート会長の他、タイから関連機関、バンコク、チェンマイ、パタヤ各事務所、入国管理局、税関の担当責任者が来日しました。

第5回タイ語弁論大会
... 今年の弁論テーマは「友情」で、参加の学生はタイ語でスピーチをした後、審査員からの質問にタイ語で答えます。今回の最優秀賞は、筑波大学の湯澤絵里子さんと神田外語大学の饗場はるかさんに授与されました。お二人の最優秀者には、タイ王国大使館提供の東京-バンコク間往復航空券と、タイ国政府観光庁東京事務所提供のバンコク内ホテル宿泊券が贈呈され、また、各カテゴリーの優秀者には日本タイ協会(JTA)提供のタイ知識に関する書籍が贈呈されました。（大会の結果）このタイ語弁論大会は、言葉の勉強を通してタイとタイの文化や社会への理解を深めるとともに、タイ研究を拡大し、長期的にタイの友人（Friends of Thailand）を増加させることが目的です。
2010年11月20日、タイ王国大使館と神田外語大学は「第5回タイ語弁論大会」を共催しました。同弁論大会は神田外語大学のミレニアム・ホールで開催され、東京外国語大学（東京都）・大阪大学（大阪府）・天理大学（奈良県）・宇都宮大学（栃木県）・慶應義塾大学（東京都）・筑波大学（茨城県）・神田外語大学（千葉県）の7大学から20人の学生が参加しました。
