The Sakura Science Exchange Programme was initiated in 2014 to support human resource development and to upgrade scientific knowledge and innovations under the cooperation of various academics from Japan and worldwide through short-term trainings. Until 2019, more than 30,000 youths and interested people had joined the project.

2022年11月11日、ロムデジ・ピサラポン公使参事官は日本科学未来館にて開催された科学技術振興機構(JST)が主催する「さくらサイエンス・ハイスクールプログラム第3陣」の閉会式に参加しました。
