2024年7月2日、住友商事㈱の住田 孝之常務執行役員一行が、ウィッチュ・ウェチャーチーワ大使を表敬訪問し、住田常務執行役員は住友商事㈱の事業を説明し、タイとの協力に関して協議しました。両者は、将来のタイ経済の持続的開発に向けて、タイの民間企業の環境に優しい製造プロセスの改善と二酸化炭素の削減に関する日本の支援について意見交換しました。
