On 2 July 2020, H.E. Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun attended “The Ceremony of Handing Over of the ASEAN COMMITTEE In Tokyo (ACT) Chairmanship” at the Embassy of Malaysia during which H.E. Dato' Kennedy Jawan, Malaysian Ambassador and Incumbent ACT Chair, symbolically handed over the gavel to H.E. Mr. Myint Thu, Ambassador of Myanmar and new ACT Chair. The term of ACT Chairmanship is 6 months and rotated among the ASEAN Embassies in Tokyo.

The Meeting was followed by a handover ceremony of the ACT Chairmanship from Singapore to Thailand. Thailand will assume the Chairmanship of the ACT during January – June 2022....

2017年4月4日、バンサーン・ブンナーク大使とASEAN各国の大使は、小池百合子東京都知事との昼食会に出席し、ASEANと東京都との協力推進、特に2020年の東京オリンピック・パラリンピックに向けた協力について協議しました。その後、大使らは在日のASEAN各国大使館で作るASEAN Committee in Tokyo （ACT）第280回会議に参加しました。なお、今回の議長国はシンガポールです。
