... On 30 October 2018, Mr. Shigeru Nakanishi, Mayor of Kanoya city paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag at the Royal Thai Embassy. Kanoya city was elected to be the host town of Thailand women's national volleyball team for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Mayor reported that Kanoya city was also the training camp for Thailand women's national volleyball team during 23 July - 2 August 2018. On this occasion, the Ambassador hoped that the Thailand - Kanoya relations will be further strengthen even the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games ...

Embassy strengthening up relation with Kanoya Kagoshima Prefecture
