11th Thai Festival in Nagoya

The Office of Labor in Japan also dispatched an official to provide advice and consultation to Thai workers.There were around 60 booths at the festival selling a variety of Thai foods and products and the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Thai Airways conducted promotions for Thai tourism. As far as Thai Festivals in Japan go, the Thai Festival in Nagoya gained just as much attention as other Thai Festivals held in Yoyogi Park in Tokyo and in Osaka.

2014.06.14 Ambassador met Aichi Governor

On 14 June 2014, Ambassador Thanatip Upatising, together with Consul-General Vichit Chitvimarn, Royal Thai Consulate-General in Osaka, met Mr. Hideaki Omura, Aichi Governor, upon their visit to join Thai Festival in Nagoya.  They discussed on trade and investment between Thailand and Aichi.  Ambassador also confirmed that Thai political situation has cooled down and curfew has been withdrawn, lifting worries in traveling to Thailand for Japanese tourists and businesspeople.
