President of Yamagata-Thailand Friendship Association pays a courtesy call on the Ambassador.

... promote warm friendship between Thailand and Yamagata. The Association invited the Ambassador to visit Yamagata Prefecture. It also plans to work with other Thailand-Japan Friendship Associations in the Tohoku region to arrange charter flights between Sendai and Bangkok to strengthen relations with Thailand. The Royal Thai Embassy has received cherries and Sakura branches as the souvenir from Yamagata every year, which is a symbol of continued friendly relations between Thailand and the Prefecture.
