On 22 May 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, attended the Summer Grand Sumo Tournament 2022 at Tokyo’s Ryogoku Kokugikan. The Ambassador presented the Thailand-Japan Friendship Cup to Sumo Champion Yokozuna TERUNOFUJI who won the highest division of the Summer Grand Sumo Tournament.
