2022年7月8日、国立高等専門学校機構の井上光輝理事一行が、タイ王国大使館との関係強化とタイ高専プロジェクトの進捗報告のためにシントン・ラーピセートパン大使を表敬訪問しました。
大使は、国家開発の方向性に合致し、また日本の民間部門のニーズに沿うタイの人的資源の向上のためタイと日本の首相が共に重要性を示したので、プロジェクトの支援を表明しました。国立高等専門学校機構は今年11月16日に開催する設立60周年記念祝賀行事に高等教育科学研究革新省大臣と大使を招待する予定です。
