Thai food and beverage products showcased in FOODEX JAPAN 2024

... products, including fresh and frozen fruits, processed food, condiment, and drinks. Their participation was made possible partly by the support of the Office of Commercial Affairs in Tokyo. The Thai Pavilion area also showcased Thai cuisine and Thai fruits certified with the “Thai Select” mark of the Ministry of Commerce to ensure the high quality or their authenticity. Then, the Ambassador moved on to visit the other 14 booths of Thai food and food-related entrepreneurs whose participated in this year FOODEX was supported by the SME Development Bank of Thailand, the National Food Institute, and the Office of Industrial Affairs, Tokyo.

The Royal Thai Embassy hosts the Thai Drama Festival in Japan 2021 (3-4 April 2021)

Online Lecture on Thailand for Umenoki Elementary School

On 18 February 2022 the Royal Thai Embassy held an online lecture on Thailand for the second grade students from Umenoki Elementary School in Kita Ward, Tokyo. Som-O Night

... cooperated with the Department of International Trade Promotion and Office of Agriculture Affairs in the Tokyo held, “Som-O Night” event at the Embassy’s Hall. The event was held in order to promote Thai Pomelo (Som-O) and Thai restaurants offering Thai food, using pomelo as the main ingredient during 1-31 August 2015. About 130 people attended the event, including Miss Som-O and honoured guest, Mr. Kensaku Morita, Chiba Governor. Many kinds of food using Som-O were introduced, as well as other Thai fruits distributed in Japan, such as coconut, durian, pineapple, etc.

2014.4.26 Ambassador opened Thai Fair 2014 at Makuhari-Shintoshin AEON

Authority of Thailand in Tokyo, opened Thai Fair 2014 at AEON, Makuhari-Shintoshin Branch.  The event has been organized by AEON Retails for 6 years until present.  With cooperation from the Royal Thai Embassy’s economy-related offices, this year, Thai food, fruits and flowers are sold in over 3,500 AEON’s department stores and supermarkets during 25-27 April 2014.  Special item was mango pudding made from Thai mangoes.

... visited the Thai Pavilion consisting of 43 companies and 1 government agency (Institute for Agricultural Product Innovation, Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce of Thailand). The Thai Pavilion featured fresh and frozen fruits, processed food, future food (plant-based food), condiment, and drinks including coffee (Amazon brand). They were brought to showcase in FOODEX with the support of the Office of Commercial Affairs in Tokyo.
