Embassy provided information on Thailand and food, Khanom Dok Jok making demonstration, Thai boxing demonstration from Saenchai Muaythai Gym, as well as having 35 members of Wattana Alumni Chorus from Thailand sing in the event. Thailand tourism, Thai food and fruits brochures were also distributed.
The children and parents showed enthusiasm in the activities and seemed to have positive attitude towards Thailand, while some of them expressed their interest in visiting the country in the future.

Thai food and beverage products showcased in FOODEX JAPAN 2024

The Thai Pavilion area also showcased Thai cuisine and Thai fruits certified with the “Thai Select” mark of the Ministry of Commerce to ensure the high quality or their authenticity. Then, the Ambassador moved on to visit the other 14 booths of Thai food and food-related entrepreneurs whose participated in this year FOODEX was supported by the SME Development Bank of Thailand, the National Food Institute, and the Office of Industrial Affairs, Tokyo.

2014.05.17-18 15th Thai Festival in Tokyo
... Affairs, delivered a congratulatory speech for the 15th anniversary of the Thai Festival. Totally 15 special Thai and Japanese guests together opened the 15th Thai Festival Anniversary mark.
This year’s festival introduced more than 180 booths promoting Thai food, fruits, and products. Booths by Thai public offices such as Tourism Authority of Thailand, Office of Commercial Affairs, Office of Agricultural Affairs, Royal Project, NGOs/NPOs, and Thai temples were included.

Online Lecture on Thailand for Umenoki Elementary School
On 18 February 2022 the Royal Thai Embassy held an online lecture on Thailand for the second grade students from Umenoki Elementary School in Kita Ward, Tokyo.
Thai culture and customs, Thai food and fruits, tourism in Thailand and Thai sports were introduced to the student. After the lecture, the students enjoyed themselves in quizzes and Q&A session.

Som-O Night
... cooperated with the Department of International Trade Promotion and Office of Agriculture Affairs in the Tokyo held, “Som-O Night” event at the Embassy’s Hall. The event was held in order to promote Thai Pomelo (Som-O) and Thai restaurants offering Thai food, using pomelo as the main ingredient during 1-31 August 2015. About 130 people attended the event, including Miss Som-O and honoured guest, Mr. Kensaku Morita, Chiba Governor. Many kinds of food using Som-O were introduced, as well as other Thai fruits distributed in Japan, such as coconut, durian, pineapple, etc.

... visited the Thai Pavilion consisting of 43 companies and 1 government agency (Institute for Agricultural Product Innovation, Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce of Thailand). The Thai Pavilion featured fresh and frozen fruits, processed food, future food (plant-based food), condiment, and drinks including coffee (Amazon brand). They were brought to showcase in FOODEX with the support of the Office of Commercial Affairs in Tokyo.
