2024年6月18日、ワチラロンコン国王陛下御生誕日の祝賀行事として、ウィッチュ・ウェチャーチーワ大使をはじめ、タイ王国大使館職員、タイ王国各関連事務所長及びその配偶者が集まり、合計60名程が参加しました。今回の清掃活動はみんなで力を合わせて増上寺大殿周辺の清掃を行いました。また大使が黒門近くの庭に桜の木を植えの看板の前でリボンカットによるオープニングセレモニーを行いました。今回の増上寺黒門近くの桜の木の植樹はタイと日本の友好関係を示す象徴となり、そして美しい木陰の心休まる場所となりました。また、日本仏教の重要な伝統的建造物が残る東京の中心部にある古い寺院地域の景観改善と維持に貢献するこの活動は、日本の皆様や外国人観光客からも、環境改善や道徳心の向上のための良い例として、感謝をうけ、興味を持たれていました。
