2023年3月16日、日タイビジネスフォーラム（JTBF）の工業委員会の谷口 武彦委員長がシントン・ラーピセートパン大使を訪問しました。コロナ禍収束後の2023年2月に、3年ぶりにJTBF役員が訪タイしたことについて報告しました。 この機会に、大使はJTBFが「Friend of Thailand」であり、タイ経済の重要な同志であることを強調しました。また、将来にわたってタイと日本の経済関係を促進するというJTBFのミッションを引き継ぐため、タイに駐在経験のある各分野のより若い世代の日本人にJTBFへの入会を促すことなど、双方はさまざまな問題について意見交換を行いました。
