　2023年６月10日、シントン・ラーピセートパン大使は「第11回タイフェスティバルin仙台」の開会式に出席して挨拶を行いました。大使は挨拶の中で、開催に尽力してくださった実行委員会に感謝し、タイと仙台の親密な関係の象徴であると述べました。 　タイフェスティバルは2023年6月10-11日に仙台市の勾当台公園市民広場で開催され、約40,000人の来場者がありました。会場内には、35店舗のタイ料理レストランや物産サービスブースが出店し、ステージではタイ伝統舞踊、ムエタイ、タイ観光大使の佐藤三兄弟によるパフォーマンスが披露されました。今年、大使館ブースではBCG経済モデル（バイオ経済、循環経済、グリーン経済）について紹介し、タイ国政府観光庁のブースでは観光情報が提供されました。
