at Shinjuku FACE, Tokyo. The event was held by NJKF (New Japan Kickboxing Federation) Seanchai MuayThai Gym, which concluded 4 amateur matches and 11 main matches. The Ambassador presented trophies to 6 winners from the main matches as well.
... Thai boxing match, “M-Fight Suk Weerasakreck III Part 2”, which was the match between Thai and Japanese boxers, at Differ Ariake Arena, Tokyo.
The Ambassador wished good luck for both sides and thanked Mr. Weerasakreck Wongprasert, Weerasakreck Muaythai Gym’s President, who has promoted Thai boxing in Japan, making the sport well-known in Japan today.

The activities included not only 70 booths ranging from food, products, tourism and culture promotion but also stage performance such as national costume fashion show, traditional dance, and live concert. Thailand presented Thai boxing from Hamakko Muaythai Gym and Thai traditional music by the Royal Thai Embassy Ensemble.

Currently, Phayahong focuses on studying Japanese language and training hard to prepare herself for the next tournament in Japan. The Embassy expresses its appreciation to Phayahong for her great contribution in promoting Muaythai in Japan and also hopes that she will continue delivering great results.

On 2 September 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, presided over a meeting with Muay Thai operators in Japan at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo to jointly promote Muay Thai in Japan.
