2024年6月19-20日、ウィッチュ・ウェチャーチーワ大使は山形県タイ友好協会の招待を受けて、同協会の第6回総会に出席するために山形県を訪問しました。訪問中に、大使は山形県の吉村美栄子知事や山形県タイ友好協会の寒河江浩二会長を表敬訪問し、タイと山形県の関係強化、特にビジネス、観光、文化、そして学術研究分野における国民同士の交流について意見交換をしました。また大使は各方面の方々との懇談の中で、観光目的で来日するタイ人の入国ビザ免除期間の延長について検討することが重要であると繰り返しました。2023年には約100万人のタイ人が来日しており、今後もタイ人旅行者が日本各地の経済を活性化することが期待されます。...
