2022年11月11日、シントン・ラーピセートパン大使は、タイを含むASEAN各国で日本語を教える任務を終え帰国した日本語パートナーズへの感謝状贈呈式及び交流会に出席しました。 交流会で大使は挨拶を行い、日本語パートナーズ事業を行う国際交流基金と参加ボランティアに感謝を表しました。同事業は、日本と派遣国であるASEAN各国の国民同士の関係強化に寄与しています。 日本語パートナーズとは、日本人が海外に派遣されて現地の日本語教師のアシスタントとして活動する事業であり、これまで12ヵ国で事業が行われてきました。今年はタイに45名のボランティアが派遣されタイ全土19県で活動を行いました。
