2021年6月29日、シントン・ラーピセートパン大使を含む駐日アセアン大使は、東京の国際文化会館にて「アセアン委員会東京(ACT) 議長引き継ぎ式」に参加しました。式では、これまでの議長であるホセ・C・ラウレル・5世フィリピン大使が２０２１年７月から１２月までの任期を務める新議長のピーター・タン シンガポール大使に引き継ぎを象徴する小槌を手渡しました。ACT議長は１期6カ月で、駐日アセアン大使館が交代で務めます。
