2022年1月7日、北都銀行名誉顧問の齋藤永吉氏、大森建設株式会社代表取締役の大森三四郎氏、北都銀行東京支店長の熊谷健生氏が、シントン・ラーピセートパン 大使を表敬訪問しました。  北都銀行の会長を務めていた斉藤永吉氏は、秋田・タイ友好協会設立にご尽力されました。両者は、タイと秋田県の関係、例えば秋田タイ王国友好協会の活動や東京オリンピック・パラリンピック開催時期の相互協力、またタイのBCG（バイオ-循環型-グリーン）経済政策に沿った風力発電に関する地域協力発展の可能性について話し合いました。
