Ambassador congratulates the first gold medalist of Thailand.

... gold medalist for Thailand at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic. Ambassador Singtong expressed his sincere congratulations on her success that made a new page of history for the Thai taekwondo. Her relentlessness and perseverance brought the national pride and inspiration for the whole country. He also expressed his full support for Mr. Thana Chaiprasit, Chef de Mission of Thailand Olympic Team, and the taekwondo team members who did their very best during the Games. He emphasised the Embassy’s continued support during Tokyo Olympics 2020for all 42 Thai athletes competing in 16 sports and the team staffs.

On 20 April 2019, Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan presides over the “Muaythai Youth Cares Programme” in Japan initiated by Miss Nabhiraks Bhakdibhumi, Founder of the Programme, which is the collaboration between WBC Muaythai Thailand and Japan. This special occasion provides an opportunity to a group of 20 Japanese young boxers aged between 5 -18 years old to participate in the traditional Muaythai Wai Kru Ritual as well as to listen to the inspiration speeches from the Japanese World Champions who attended the ceremony.

Ambassador and Madam give donations to Ban Rom Sai - a children home for orphans in Thailand

On 3 February, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag and Madam Yupadee attended the launching event of “Hoshihana” a picture book from Ban Rom Sai plus Art Project at the Inspiration Hall, Itoya Ginza. Ambassador expressed his appreciation to the hard work and dedication of Mrs. Miwa Natori who founded Ban Rom Sai as a caring home for children who lost their parents due to HIV. The orphan home is located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and currently taking care of 30 children at the age of 2 - 18 years old.
