Ambassador met with Fukuoka Governor

The Ambassador, together with officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Royal Consul General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Osaka, met with Thai people residing in the Fukuoka area

... approximately 50 Thai people residing in the Fukuoka area consisting of students, entrepreneurs, several fields of labour and housewives. This aimed to strengthen the network of the Thai community in the Fukuoka area. In addition, it promoted the newly opened Royal Thai Consulate-General in Fukuoka in the fiscal year 2019. This will help to tie the relations between Thailand and Japan as well as extend the local level relations. The most important thing is to enhance the quality of services for Thai people residing in Japan and for the protection department to be more efficient.
