On 20 February 2014, Ambassador Thanatip Upatising and Mme Monthip Upatising hosted a dinner in honour of ASEAN Ambassador and spouses at the Residence. Ambassadors from Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Vietnam, and Singapore, including Ambassador’s spouses from Myanmar, Philippines and Vietnam, accepted the invitation to this friendly event. Thai traditional musical performance by the Royal Thai Embassy staff was also provided to entertain the guests.
On 30 November 2013, diplomats and staff from the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo joined the ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) Golf Tournament 2013 at Ohmurasaki Golf Club, hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore. The tournament was held to boost friendship between ASEAN embassies in Japan.
