2014.02.20 Dinner in honour of ASEAN Ambassadors and spouses

On 20 February 2014, Ambassador Thanatip Upatising and Mme Monthip Upatising hosted a dinner in honour of ASEAN Ambassador and spouses at the Residence.  Ambassadors from Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Vietnam, and Singapore, including Ambassador’s spouses from Myanmar, Philippines and Vietnam, accepted the invitation to this friendly event. Thai traditional musical performance by the Royal Thai Embassy staff was also provided to entertain the guests.

2013.11.30 ACT Golf Tournament 2013-1

On 30 November 2013, diplomats and staff from the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo joined the ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) Golf Tournament 2013 at Ohmurasaki Golf Club, hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore. Ambassadors of ASEAN Countries in Japan attended the “Handing-Over Ceremony of the ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) Chairmanship”

Laurel V, Ambassador of the Philippines as the outgoing ACT Chair, handed over the gavel to H.E. Mr. Peter Tan, Ambassador of Singapore who will be the next ACT Chair during July-December 2021. The term of ACT Chairmanship is 6 months and rotated among the ASEAN Embassies in Japan.
